The landing-stage from the sea
This is the best landing place. Even so the shore is very rocky. Note the black rocks above the high-water line and the clean rocks below. The hill above has a winding line of metal stakes with cables for hand-rails for the path to the plateau. This is not the way to Fingal's cave. To get to the cave you need to follow the shore around the left.
My brother Allan is facing the camera. My cousin Graham has his back to it.
